2-in-1 smartpad, one of the most innovative mobile devices to be developed Imerj and Frog design, makes many people fascinated in spite of a prototype device. As a dual-screened phone, 2-in-1 smartpad will be released in next months. Here we compiled the clearest images of this kind of smart-pad.
The device is actually quite thin, just 7mm (28-inches). When folding this phone, you can see its size is thinner than Droid Charge, or about 50 percent thicker than an iPhone 4. If you do not bend it, it can be seen to be the world’s thinnest smartphone. Compared to tablets, this smartpad is also thinner than its rival Galaxy Tab 10.1 which is currently considered to be the thinnest one. Each half is 4 inches of WVGA AMOLED, for a combined resolution of 800×960 and a combined diagonal of about 6 inches. Smartpad is equipped with a dual-core TI OMAP processor but its speed has been undisclosed because it depends on final discussions between TI and Imerj. There’s 1GB of DDR3 RAM available for the hardware, while this model has 32GB of internal storage, which is not expandable via microSD.
